Oleksandra was born and raised in Donetsk — a city that remains her home at heart. Her childhood was shaped by discipline, resilience, and the drive to overcome limits. At just 11, she became a Master of Sports of Ukraine in rhythmic gymnastics. But that same year, life brought a challenge no child should ever face: she was diagnosed with an inoperable form of brain cancer.
Doctors in Ukraine refused to treat her, saying it was impossible. Yet foreign specialists gave her a chance — and she took it.
Her life became a story of persistence and inner strength. Oleksandra continued her education abroad, earning a bachelor’s degree in the Czech Republic and a master’s degree in Israel, specializing in diplomacy and conflict resolution. She knew her mission was to make the world safer, more honest, and more humane.
In August 2025, everything changed again. In broad daylight, Oleksandra survived an attempted sexual assault — an experience that could break anyone. Instead, it became her turning point.
Thousands of women wrote to her with words of support. But along with support came stories — hundreds, thousands of confessions: “It happened to me too.” What seemed like an isolated tragedy turned out to be the lived reality of countless women.
In that moment, Oleksandra understood: she could not stay silent.
She first created a support chat called “Your Friend” — a safe space where women could feel they were not alone. But soon it became clear that more was needed. A greater force was needed — one that could change the environment itself.
That force became Soft Power.
Today, Soft Power is a place where women receive not only support, but protection, hope, and belief in their own strength.
